ACHIEVEMENT – District 67 is nationally recognized for achieving significant academic, social, and emotional growth for every student.

Strategic Initiative:
All District 67 students will meet grade level benchmarks and meet or exceed their individual growth target range.

INSTRUCTION – Instruction is highly differentiated and inquiry-based, driven by students’ needs, interests, and passions.

Strategic Initiative:
All District 67 students will experience a guaranteed and viable curriculum. All students will be empowered to own their own learning.

ASSESSMENT – Multidimensional assessments are used to identify and measure holistic growth for every student.

Strategic Initiative:
All District 67 students will have access to common assessments to ensure consistent access to and mastery of rigorous content and skills. 

TALENT – The District attracts and retains the highest-quality talent who are exemplars in the field of learning, investing in continuous development which is timely, meaningful, and job embedded.

Strategic Initiative:
All District 67 staff will have high quality, ongoing professional development opportunities in an effort to enhance the talent of staff members and foster continuous improvement.

PARTNERSHIP – Effective, transparent, and proactive communication fosters a high trust partnership among the Board, faculty, staff, parents, and community.

Strategic Initiative:
District 67 will communicate and promote Mission/Vision/Milestones to all stakeholders through a variety of communication vehicles to enhance awareness of progress and new initiatives.

ENVIRONMENT – Reimagined learning spaces, places, time, tools, and technology are used inside and outside the classroom to enhance the learning experience for all students.

Strategic Initiative:
  • District 67 will research and develop model classroom spaces and best practices of classroom design.
  • Transforming Learning Spaces team creates a multi-year plan to transform learning spaces across the District.
