    Any person requesting records of Lake Forest School District 67 may make such a request in person, orally or in writing, at the Administration building at 300 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest, Illinois. Such request should be made to the district's Freedom of Information Officers at such address, and if they are not present, such request may be made to Mrs. Eileen Faller, Board Clerk. Records may be available in paper copies, pdf's, or, depending on the original format, various software programs.

    Mission Statement

    The Mission of Lake Forest School District 67 is to inspire and empower all students to maximize their growth as learners and develop a balanced sense of self, steadfast resiliency, and deep respect for others.

    About Our District

    The school district is recognized both state-wide and nationally for its innovative, instructional practices and solid educational programs.

    The majority of our students score in the top stanines on standardized achievement tests and meet or exceed state standards on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT).

    The K-8 curriculum includes advanced programs, gifted classes, and special needs support services allowing for the development of the whole child. All educational programs are designed to continuously meet the changing needs of students in our dynamic world.

    About our schools

    District 67 has three K-4 elementary schools (Cherokee, Everett and Sheridan) and one 5-8 middle school (Deer Path). The middle school operates through two offices: Deer Path East for grades 5-6, and Deer Path West for grades 7-8. District 67 serves the residents of Lake Forest.

    School-by-school enrollment figures are as follows:

    • Cherokee Elementary School, 307 students
    • Everett Elementary School, 291 students
    • Sheridan Elementary School, 224 students
    • Deer Path Middle School, 903 (total) students
      • East (Grades 5/6), 432 students
      • West (Grades 7/8), 471 students

    The shared District Office is responsible for the operation and management of both District 115 and District 67.
