Community Service Day for all 8th graders is on Friday, October 21st! All 8th grade students will have the opportunity to serve their community on this morning. Please see the awesome list of opportunities our students have for this day by clicking HERE. Our goal is for our students to serve 2017 hours as a class to give back to the community. This is a great and students do a wonderful job representing Deer Path!

Candidates interested in being elected to the City of Lake Forest School District 67 or Lake Forest Community High School District 115 Board of Education may pick up candidate petition packets at the Administration Center, 300 S. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 beginning September 20, 2016 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Packets will also be available online at lakecountyil.gov/309/Petition-Packets. The first day to being circulating nominating papers is September 20, 2016.
The first day to file nomination papers is December 12, 2016, at the Lake County Clerk’s Office, 18 North County Street, Room 101, Waukegan, IL 60085, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The last day to file nomination papers is December 19, 2016. In accordance with law, the County Clerk’s office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 2016.
Thanks to a grant from the Spirit of 67 Foundation, Mark will be teaching DPM orchestra students and has provided arrangements that students will perform in the live concert alongside Mark Wood, which is open to the public.

Please note: this trip is not a school-sponsored event as it is coordinated by Brightspark Travel. Participants and teachers will be traveling as representatives of Brightspark Travel.
