  • 8th Graders Soar Past Their Goal for Community Service

8th graders perform community service as part of their graduation activities. Our students kicked off their year of service during Community Service Day in October 2013 and performed 2 hours of service apiece at 12 different sites throughout the area. But that wasn't all. Challenged to perform more service with the class goal of 2014 hours (equal to agout 7.5 hours per student), the class took the challenge to heart and beat that goal with a whopping total of 3368.25 hours!! If you are in the 7/8 lobby, take a look at the space mural that tracks each students' progress!
