    As underscored in our strategic plan, our district is committed to continually reviewing and improving our schools. The Comprehensive School Climate Inventory (CSCI) survey will, once again, be administered in class to all students in grades 3-8 and to all school personnel over the next few weeks. Parents will not participate this year, as they will only be a part of the sampling every other year.

    We are very proud to announce this year's winner and runner-up of the 2016 Scripps Howard Spelling Bee: First Place, Nick (7th grade) and Second Place and Runner-up, Emily (7th grade). Nick will go on to represent Deer Path Middle School in the Sectional competition next month. It was a very strong group of competitors, and we extend our congratulations to all for a job very well done!
