Lake Forest 2 - North Shore Country Day 1
Lake Forest opened on Varsity field against a very talented North Shore Country Day team, who finished the 2016 season fourth in the state and are looking to build on that this year. The game was close from the start, and neither team was ever able to pull away. The game was highly contested even in the closing seconds.
The Scouts' defense was able to withstand the very dynamic and aggressive offense of North Shore Country Day. The strong defensive play was anchored by Sarah Considine, Charlotte Domittner, and Natalie Notz. Both Lake Forest and North Shore Country Day will be teams to watch as the 2017 season continues.
