Our LFHS Junior Class students and the APT are excitedly planning Prom 2024! This year’s event will be on Saturday, May 18, taking place in the heart of Chicago aboard the Odyssey Lake Michigan. This year's Prom theme is “Step into the Spotlight” inspired by old Hollywood.
Tickets
Tickets will be sold online from April 1st until April 25th for $120 per person. This price provides a chef-prepared buffet, a juice and soda bar, DJ entertainment, as well as incredible views of Chicago’s skyline and attractions from climate-controlled interior and open-air rooftop decks. In an effort to make it possible for all junior and senior students to attend Prom, the APT has established an LFHS Student Grant for those in need of financial assistance. After registration, students will designate with whom they would like to be grouped by bus. Bus assignments will be completed during lunch periods one week prior. LFHS Junior and Seniors may invite underclassmen. To invite a guest from outside LFHS, please obtain Dean approval by submitting a Prom Guest Authorization form prior to purchasing tickets.
Red Carpet
Students will have the opportunity to walk the Red Carpet prior to leaving for The Odyssey. The LFHS Community will be able to view a livestream of the Red Carpet via the school’s YouTube feed or may choose to park off-campus and watch the Red Carpet in person. VIP Photography will capture pictures of students on the Red Carpet and during Prom, and photos will be available for purchase on the LFHS website shortly after the event.Project Safe Prom Donations

All students and chaperones are required to take motor coaches to and from LFHS. Transportation, security, and accessibility for all to attend Prom have been made possible by generous donations to Project Safe Prom. Thank you to those parents who have already donated!
The actual cost to host Prom far exceeds the ticket price; we rely on the support of our community to bring this annual tradition to our students. We are collecting donations for Project Safe Prom until April 20 at noon. Donors at the Memory Maker and Dream Team levels will be acknowledged on the Red Carpet. Contributions at any level are needed and greatly appreciated.
