Applied Technology

The mission of the Applied Tech department is to develop student potential in a comprehensive, knowledge driven and activity based educational program ranging from the college-bound student to technical employment after high school. 

Students will:

• Apply technical knowledge through new and innovative practices

• Cultivate and incorporate creative problem solving skills

• Develop skills and strategies for proper usage of tools and machines

• Understand the impact of technology on individuals, society and the environment. 

• Use computers and other high tech machines as a means of instruction to prepare students for the ever changing world of technology.  

• Work effectively as individuals and as team members to select the appropriate technology to solve problems.
