Regular School Hours
All D67 schools follow the Continuous Improvement Initiative (CII) Schedule on Mondays to allow collaborative planning time for staff members.
Cherokee, Everett, Sheridan (Full-Day K - Grade 4)
- Monday: 8:00 am - 1:45 pm
- Tuesday-Friday: 8:00 am - 2:50 pm
Deer Path Middle School
- Monday: 8:35 am - 2:35 pm
- Tuesday-Friday: 8:35 am - 3:35 pm
Late Start Day
If a day is designated as a Late Start, school will begin two hours later than usual. Buses will run regular morning routes two hours later than the originally scheduled time. Dismissal times and afternoon bus routes and times will remain as originally scheduled.
If a Late Start Day falls on a Monday, all schools will continue to follow the Continuous Improvement Initiative early release schedule.

Information Regarding CII Early Release Mondays (DPM ONLY):
After-school care options: An after-school care option will be open to all students who wish to stay on campus until their activity begins. Any students who wish to stay after school for clubs, sports, or additional time to complete homework, a silent study hall option will be offered in the Cube and Haskins after school. Supervision will be provided by our Preferred Building Substitutes. Students can sign up each week for this option during homeroom on Mondays. Sports and extracurriculars will occur as usual on Mondays at 3:45 pm.
Transportation: Bussing will still be offered at the end of the school day (on Mondays at 2:35 pm) following normal routes. If a student chooses to utilize the after-school care option, parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transportation.
Reporting an Absence

Telephone the school office within one hour of the start of school if your child will be absent. Please report any communicable childhood diseases (e.g., chicken pox, impetigo, “strep” throat, conjunctivitis, etc.). The school will respect the privacy of the individual child, and may notify families of exposure to infectious disease.
