Welcome to Deer Path Middle School!

One of our primary focuses at Deer Path is making sure that our students are welcomed and comfortable in their school! With remote learning this spring, bringing our incoming students to Deer Path Middle School has not been possible. So instead, we're sharing digital resources here to help us bring Deer Path Middle School to your students!

In this communication you will find information intended to support students and parents in the transition to Deer Path including introductions to our principals, buildings, pick-up, drop-off, and the daily life of a DPM student, and ways to get involved. Just click on the images to view!

How does the district handle educating McKinney-Vento children?

Board policy governs the enrollment of homeless children. Any homeless child is immediately admitted to school after the completion of required paperwork in the district office. Homeless children are admitted even if the child or child’s parent / guardian is unable to produce records normally required to establish residency. Please contact Homeless Coordinator, Jennifer Hermes: jhermes@lfschools.net
