REGISTRATION FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

Lake Forest School District 67 uses an online registration system (PowerSchool Registration). Parents receive a SnapCode email for each District 67 student that contains a personalized link to complete online registration and fee payment for the following school year.

If you do not receive your SnapCode email, please contact Natalia Martinez at nmartinez@lfschools.net.

We encourage families to complete the online registration as soon as possible. Your student's registration will not be considered complete until you have submitted all online registration information and fee payment. Portions of the information you provide on your registration, such as emergency notifications, are required for your student(s) to participate in District field trips. Students with incomplete registration will not be allowed to attend field trips. An additional $25 will be charged per student for payments received after the registration deadline. You will receive a confirmation email after submission.

The District offers fee waivers for required fees for families who meet the eligibility criteria. Guidelines and application forms are available during the online registration process.

Please note: All students registering at Lake Forest School District 67 are required to provide proof of residency. Lake Forest School District 67 has contracted with a third party firm to automatically check information provided during the registration process against electronic records. In the event that residency cannot be verified electronically, a member of our staff will reach out to you to obtain further information and documentation.

REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS

Any parents/guardians who wish to enroll their student(s) in Lake Forest School District 67 must complete the online pre-registration process for each student. Enrollment is open to all legal residents who reside within the school boundaries of Lake Forest School District 67.

2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR - NEW FAMILIES ONLY

After you have pre-registered your student, you must complete the verification of residency and enrollment process. Please use this link for instructions, and for a list of required documents.

Lake Forest School District 67 can not approve your student’s pre-registration until you have provided the necessary documentation to verify residency and enrollment.

Withdrawing Students from District 67 Schools

Parents/Guardians may withdraw their student from any District 67 school and receive a full refund of registration fees up until the 6th day of school. After the 6th day of school, no refunds will be granted. Parents must contact their school office to notify the District that they are withdrawing their student.

At the time a parent/guardian re-enrolls their student at any of District 67's schools, the full registration fees will be required.

How does the District Handle Educating McKinney-Vento Children?

Board policy governs the enrollment of homeless children. Any homeless child is immediately admitted to school after the completion of required paperwork in the district office. Homeless children are admitted even if the child or child’s parent / guardian is unable to produce records normally required to establish residency. e-Newsletters

Parents and guardians are subscribed to receive their school e-Newsletters and other school and District news (sent through Constant Contact), using the email addresses they provided during online registration.
 
If you have any questions, or problems receiving communications sent through Constant Contact, please email communications@lfschools.net.

If you are not receiving communications specific to your student, please contact your school office.

Examinations and Immunizations

Physical Examination/Immunizations are required for all students in kindergarten, second grade, sixth grade, and all new students entering the District from another state or country. An Eye Examination is required for all new students and kindergarten students. A Dental Examination is required for all new students and students entering kindergarten, second, and sixth grade.

SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

The lunch program begins on the first full day of school and normally is in operation each full day school is in session. For more information, please visit the Food Services page of this website. Menus are posted online and can be viewed by clicking on the "Menu" tab from each school's homepage.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation registration/fee payment is completed during the district’s annual online registration. There is a deadline to register and pay for transportation, and an additional $50.00 will be charged per student after the transportation deadline.

If you wish to purchase bus service once the online registration window for transportation has closed, please email Natalia Martinez at the district office, nmartinez@lfschools.net.
