By 2026, LFHS will both define the Portrait of a Learner competencies for success and determine how students demonstrate growth and mastery in those competencies.

These competencies were selected as key employability and success characteristics through an extensive community engagement process.

District 115 intends to foster the development of these competencies in every student through systems and structures that embed skill building into the LFHS experience.
