Registering Your Child

For more information about the Community of Learners Preschool, please visit this page

Step 1: Complete Pre-Registration

Any parents/guardians who wish to enroll their student(s) in Lake Forest School District 67 must complete the online pre-registration process for each student using the link below. Families new to the District or who have never used Powerschool Registration will need to first create an online account. Enrollment is open to all legal residents who reside within the school boundaries of Lake Forest School District 67

2025-2026 School Year Only

PLEASE USE THIS LINK TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Step 2: Complete Verification of Residency and Enrollment

After you have pre-registered your student, you must complete the verification of residency and enrollment process. Please use this link for instructions, and a list of required documents.

Lake Forest School District 67 can not approve your student’s pre-registration until you have provided the necessary documentation to verify residency and enrollment.

Questions can be directed to Natalia Martinez at nmartinez@lfschools.net.

Step 3: Complete Online Registration and Pay School Fees in May

After you have pre-registered your student(s), and verified residency, you will receive a personalized SnapCode email during the middle of May to complete the online registration process and pay fees through PowerSchool Registration.

The District offers fee waivers for required fees for families who meet the eligibility criteria. Guidelines and application forms are available during the online registration process.

NEW! Multilingual Preschool Videos for Families

Early Childhood Professional Learning (ECPL) is delighted to share new free on-demand videos for staff and families. Each video is available in English, Spanish, and Arabic. The first video explains the Illinois Home Language Survey and how the information is used in early care and education centers (ECEC) in our state. ECEC staff are strongly encouraged to show this video to family members as part of the preschool registration process. The second video explains that when children are encouraged to maintain their home language or learn a new language from an early age, it has lasting benefits that go beyond just speaking more than one language. Illinois has a statewide goal to nurture bilingualism in all children, and our families' commitments to their home languages are an important part of that goal.
