Dear Lake Forest School District Parents, Staff and Community:

Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115 practice Integrated Pest Management, a program that combines preventative techniques with a preference for products that are the least harmful to human health and the environment. The State of Illinois requires public schools to notify parents/staff at least 48 hours prior to any pesticide applications on school property. 

A broadleaf herbicide application will take place at Everett and Cherokee Elementary Schools on Saturday June 11th, weather permitting. A rain date application could take place on Saturday June 18th. 

A broadleaf herbicide application will take place at Sheridan Elementary School and Deer Path Middle School, on Saturday June 18th, weather permitting. A rain date application could take place on Saturday June 25th.
