During the second semester, all students will participate in exams for their classes. Semester exams cannot be worth more than 20% of a student’s grade. Additionally, all exams will be administered and/or completed virtually during the time frame indicated in the exam schedule. Since no students will have more than two course exams on a given day, there is no need for requests for altered times. Students are expected to engage during the time outlined in the schedule. If there is any extenuating circumstance that prohibits a student from participating in exams as scheduled, please contact the Director of Teaching and Learning, Dr. Alan Wahlert (awahlert@lfschools.net). College Board AP Exams will be held in person at Lake Forest High School during the week of May 10, 2021.  All AP Students should check their College Board account to make sure they are registered for the format of their choice.

For students taking a morning exam, they should be in their testing classroom by 7:45 am. For those taking the afternoon exam, students should plan to be at their testing classroom by 12:00 noon. Room assignments will be emailed to teachers and posted in the Front Commons.

Here is the Exam Schedule for the upcoming week.

Please note, if a student has to quarantine due to close contact tracing, they should be prepared to then opt to the AP Digital Format,  if/when they are forced to miss the “in person paper/pencil” format.

Students that are taking the at home digital format are reminded to check their email daily for College Board and LFHS updates.  They must make sure the device they are taking the exam on has the Digital App correctly downloaded.  LFHS has downloaded the digital app on school issued chromebooks, but AP students must engage in a trial test to make sure their device is working.  Students must also complete a “ College Board Readiness” step 1-3 days BEFORE the exam date.
