See what's happening in the Transition Program!

As we "spring ahead" this month, we are continuing to focus on positivity, perseverance, gratitude, and the benefits of choosing to look for the bright side of situations. Hopefully, you will be inspired to do the same as you read the March issue of our Transition Newsletter.

Our students are making strides and achieving victories, big and small, every day. There is much to look forward to this spring!

The District 67 and District 115 Boards of Education will hold a Special Joint Meeting on Tuesday, March 9 at 5:00 PM. This meeting will be held remotely and live streamed. Individuals who wish to make a public comment at a virtual meeting should notify Board Clerk Julia Polszakiewicz, at jpolszakiewicz@lfschools.net no later than 12:00 p.m. noon on the day of the meeting.

At this meeting the Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates Team will present a slate of pre-screened candidates for the Superintendent position based on the Leadership Profile Report that was presented during a Special Joint Board of Education Meeting on March 1, 2021. The Boards will collaboratively determine which candidates will be invited to participate in a first round of interviews. The HYA team will also conduct a workshop to both educate and gather input from Board members with regard to the interview process. While the majority of this meeting will be conducted in Closed Session, there will, as always, be an opportunity for public comment.

Please read additional information on the D115 Board of Education web page or D67 Board of Education web page.
