Welcome to Cherokee Elementary School! As Principal, I am privileged to partner with staff, students, and families to create a safe, challenging, and nurturing school environment. Together, these groups make Cherokee an outstanding place for students to learn and grow.
Cherokee students make Cherokee School so special. Each day, Cherokee scholars innovate, take risks, and embody the District’s vision of "learning without limits. Cherokee is home to the District’s elementary Mandarin program, which immerses students in Chinese language and culture. Spanish is another wonderful language option for students.
Cherokee staff members are very dedicated and work hard to create enriching and engaging learning opportunities for all students. As a staff, we believe deeply that all students are capable of learning and are committed to creating inclusive learning experiences that support every Cherokee scholar.
We are very fortunate to have the support of dedicated parents and families. Routinely, parents volunteer throughout the building. Many families are actively involved in the Cherokee APT, and help provide generous donations through the Spirit of 67 Foundation.
I encourage you to use this website to learn more about all of the exciting things happening at Cherokee. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out.
