Please join us to learn the features of iPhone, iPad and Mac to help you become more aware of how you and your children use devices. Apple experts will take you through Family Sharing, Screen Time and parental controls to encourage online safety and to help parents manage what their kids see and do with their devices.

January 14-16

Third Grade:  Steve Schindler, an expert on all things reptilian, will help students get up close and personal with live reptiles (and a few amphibians!) in Reptomania.

Fourth Grade:  Mad Science is doing a presentation on polymers.  Students discover the chemical and physical properties of plastics. They explore the plethora of physics principles that play a role in our daily lives.

January 21 & 22

K-2 Assembly at each school: Smarty Pants is presenting Smarty in Space: A Big Balloon Odyssey.  Students will learn how our space program got started, and about the original rockets that first traveled into space, as well as all about the planets of our solar system, all through the fun of balloons.

Tool used to view menus, nutrition and allergen informationWe are pleased to announce that Quest Food Management Services will be launching a state of the art platform to your cafes on January 13, 2020.  This platform will bring menu planning, nutrition data, and real time information to your fingertips.

The web platform will be accessible through and can also be downloaded free for iOS devices through the Apple Store and for android devices through Google Play.  Just search for FD MealPlanner in the app store.

Join us for a Family Fun Night on Thursday January 30th, from 5:00-6:00pm at Cherokee! From face painting to basketball, to dancing and crafts, there is something for everyone! You can also enjoy a dirt dessert treat. A donation of $3 per person will be collected at the door. In the Spirit of Gratitude, all donations will be given to the Lurie Children's Foundation.
