LFHS Students Selected for 2018 North Shore Honor Band

North Shore Honor Band 2018
The following LFHS band students have been selected for the 2018 North Shore Honor Bands which will rehearse January 12-13 here at LFHS, culminating in a final concert at 3pm on Saturday, January 13, in the RMA. Other participating high schools include; Stevenson, Deerfield, Glenbrook North, Glenbrook South, Highland Park, New Trier, Niles North, and Niles West.

Dr. Jim Hile, Director of Bands at Elmhurst College will be the conductor for the 9th-10th grade band, and composer Mark Camphouse, Director of Bands at George Mason University, will be the conductor for the 11th-12th grade group, which will be premiering his new composition, Prelude, Processional, and Postlude, which was commissioned for this event.
