Our Three Lake Forest High School Career Connections Programs:
Students job shadow at different organizations to learn about professional life in different settings. Seeing is believing! We look for Employer Partners to mentor our students by offering a variety of job shadowing opportunities. Students must register themselves for the opportunities and will be matched by career interest or industry. As an Employer Partner, you can select which day(s), what time of day, and how many students you mentor. Visit this page to learn more about Open Doors.
LFHS Competition Gym
The Career Fair helps expose hundreds of LFHS students to a broad array of careers and industries. Employer Partners meet our students to help them learn about a variety of career options and how to be best prepared to enter a field of their choice.
An internship experience can make our students stronger candidates for college admission and future employment. Students gain real-life professional experience. Scout Interns work at organizations from 20-200 hours, typically during the summer, but also during the school year. Visit this page to learn more about the Scout Intern program.
Become an Employer Partner!
We all want to help our teens make the best personal choices about colleges and careers. Soon, they will be choosing from over 4,000 colleges and universities, and over 800 occupations. The Lake Forest High School Career Connections programs are designed to help students explore career opportunities while still at Lake Forest High School.
Please consider being an Employer Partner by having your business/organization support our students through Open Doors Job Shadowing, the LFHS Informational Career Fair, or the Scout Intern program.
Sign up here to be an Employer Partner. Offer new opportunities for our students through Open Doors Job Shadowing, the Career Fair and/or Scout Interns!
