Talent Show 2019

The APT Talent Show 2019 is fast approaching! Tickets are on SALE! All proceeds benefit student programs, grants, and the family relief fund. We have an amazing show lined up. Come for a night of fancy, fun, and grandeur. Be a part of LFHS history, and attend this annual and momentous event.

  • Senior Acts: If you are interested in participating in Senior Acts, please fill out the following form bit.ly/LFSA-2019. An information table will be available on January 30 and January 31 during lunch periods in the Senior Commons.

TEDxLFHS eventOn March 13, 2019, Lake Forest High School will host its fifth annual TEDxLFHS Youth Event. The event takes place at the David Miller Theater from 10:25 AM - 1:50 PM, and seats will be prioritized for students and parents of speakers. Interested LFHS students and community members should visit tedxlfhs.com/attend for ticket information. The event will also be live-streamed on tedxlfhs.com.

Lake Forest 49 - Fremd 43

Varsity Girls Basketball wins the first sectional title in school basketball history with a victory over top-seeded Fremd in Libertyville and improve to 27-7. The Scouts managed a two-point lead (19-17) at half-time and after three quarters (29-27) before closing out the game with a six-point victory in a hard-fought battle.  Halle Douglass was the leading scorer for the Scouts.  

Lake Forest (2) will play Maine West (1) (32-0) in the super-sectional round on Monday, February 25 at Palatine.

Lake Forest 49 - Stevenson 40

The Scouts came out strong and outscored Stevenson 15-10 in the first quarter.  The Patriots got within two points 20-18 at half-time.  Neither team's offense did much in the third quarter as Stevenson got to within a point---26-25; however, the Scouts came alive in the final quarter and outscored the Patriots 23-15 for a happy ending to the final regular-season game.

Jake Fisher led all scorers with 24 points and 3 rebounds.  Crawford Bolton had 10 points and 5 rebounds and Mike Pasquella had 8 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Lake Forest 66 - Libertyville 53

The Scouts took a 30-25 lead into half-time and finished strong for a 66-53 sectional semifinal victory, which improved their record to 26-7 to set a new school record of 26 wins. 

Halle Douglass led the offense with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Grace Tirzmalis added 22 points, 7 rebounds.  Molly Fisher had 9 points and Finola Summerville had 5 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Scouts now move on to the sectional championship game vs Fremd HS (29-4, 9-3), which takes place on Thursday, February 21, at Libertyville High School.  Game time: 7:00 PM.
