STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

District program to promote practices in substance use prevention and intervention programming for students.
PREVENTION
Substance abuse prevention incorporates evidenced-based programs, drug education, and interpersonal skill building to reinforce positive youth activities, healthy choices and well-being.
INTERVENTION
Intervention provides the support needed for students. Efforts are made to assist students who could benefit from additional supports to help identify and address areas that may be interfering with the student’s ability to be successful.
