Unlimited, on-demand tutoring is available across all core subjects. Tutors can provide instruction in English and Spanish.

Students can engage with a variety of fun and educational offerings, including live, drop-in classes and hundreds of star-taught, on-demand lessons. They can explore their passions, learn new skills, and collaborate with peers. We partner with notable experts and celebrity instructors to teach large group classes on topics ranging from art to coding to astronomy and more. Examples include classes taught by renowned scientists like Bill Nye, NASA astronauts such as Leland Melvin, wildlife experts including Coyote Peterson, and museum directors from institutions like the Field Museum.

Students work exclusively with experienced educators and tutors who have undergone a thorough vetting process. Before a tutor is allowed to meet with a student, they must:

• Complete an interview to assess their experience, skills, capabilities, and personality.
• Lead a simulated tutoring session to demonstrate their subject-specific knowledge.
• Show proficiency in instructing within a virtual environment.
• Be evaluated and scored against our industry-leading quality standards.
• Pass comprehensive academic and personal background checks.

Students and tutors collaborate using a shared whiteboard equipped with integrated tools such as a document editor, scientific calculator, file sharing, screen sharing, photo snap, and upload capabilities.

Yes. With Essay Review, experts in grammar and composition offer an essential extra set of eyes, helping you enhance your writing and submit more thoughtful work. Students receive feedback on various types of writing, including essays, term papers, reports, and admissions essays.
